GRJM is a team within the ADIS
Research Center at the University of Paris 11. The GRJM was created in
1997 at the University of Paris Pantheon – Sorbonne. It is directed by
Professor Jean-Michel Glachant. The main research topics of the group
are the reforms of network industries (electricity, gas, water,
railways) in the European Union. GRJM works in close cooperation with
engineering schools as Supélec (Ecole Supérieure de l’Electricité) and
Ecole des mines de Paris.
The GRJM has been involved in research projects for the European
Commission (DG Research and DG Tren), the French Energy Regulatory
Commission (Commission de régulation de l'énergie – CRE), the French
Industry Ministry, and the Commissariat Général du Plan. The recent
research of GRJM for the French CRE includes:
- A comparative study of electricity transportation tariffs (2002 – 2003)
- A comparative study of market surveillance practices on wholesale electricity markets (2003 – 2004)
We are currently participating in the SESSA project for the European
Union (European Commission – DG Research). SESSA is a European Forum on
Electricity Reforms. |
